Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know I have a survey to participate in?

You will receive an email with a link from us when we want you to participate in a survey. The e-mail will tell you how long each questionnaire is active for. Clicking on the link will take you directly to the questionnaire, where you can answer the questions.

How long does it take to answer a questionnaire?

The length of the questionnaires varies but usually they take no more than a few minutes to answer.

What if I don't have time to answer the survey?

The survey is only active for a limited time. When the deadline has expired, the survey is closed and you cannot participate in that particular survey.

Can I get the survey in another language?

When you log in you can choose the preferred system language. If you have changed language once, the page will be in that language in the future. If you do not clear cookies, of course.

What if I no longer want to be involved in the panel?

Log in and click on the heading “My profile”. At the bottom of the page you will find a button: “Exit account”.

Panel members can also leave by clicking on “Exit this panel” in the survey email.

I will not access the questionnaire or the link will not work

If the link is broken, you can copy the entire link and paste it into your browser or go to www.rampanel.com.com and log in with your login details.

I cannot compete the survey

This is usually due to the fact that there are one or more questions that you missed answering or that you did not click on the “End” button at the bottom of the questionnaire.
Sometimes it can sneak into errors in the survey, which means that the survey cannot be answered. Then we are very grateful if you tell us this.

I do not get a survey when I click on the link but to a request to update personal information

We regularly want you to update your information. It may be that you have moved, become a parent, bought a car etc. It is important for us on RAM that we have the right background information about you as a panel participant and therefore the system automatically asks you to update your information every now and then. If nothing has changed, click “Update” directly. After you update your background information, you will proceed to the survey.

I no longer get my survey emails

This may be due to a number of different things. We list the most common causes here:
– The panel (s) you are a member of has a break with surveys at the moment.
– Your email program has updated its security settings and our mail ends up in your spam.
– You have changed your email address but forgot to update this with us.
– You have changed your e-mail address and until you have opened our e-mail or entered rampanel.com as a secure sender, our e-mail will be sent to your spam mail.
– You happened to click on “Unsubscribe” in our mail. Please contact us and we will remove this lock.
– Your inbox is full.
– RAM’s automatic quarantine feature has discovered an unnatural response pattern in your responses and has placed you in quarantine at the moment. If this happens, you will eventually get surveys again.

I can not log in

One common reason for this is that the panel participant tries to log in with his e-mail address instead of his chosen user name (which may be the same). If you are unsure about your username, please contact us. If you have forgotten your password, you can order a new one where you log in.

I can't sign up for a panel

This may be because you have already exceeded the limit we have on RAM regarding the number of panels a person can participate in. RAM makes it possible to be a member of 5 different panels at the same time. If you have achieved this, it is unfortunately not possible to register in more than to finish their participation in one of the panels.
Are you in one or more panels but not reached 5 pcs. You may try to register with a username you already use in one of the other panels. The password can be the same.

Why do I have to provide so many details about myself?

In order for us to be able to do as accurate and credible analyzes as possible on RAM and our customers, we need these background variables. This information is aggregated and cannot be derived from a person. An example of how this information can be used is: The advertisement is perceived as most interesting in the group of women, aged 55 +, single household and with an average income.

What will I receive for my participation?

All RAM panels have their own reward systems. You can see what is offered in your panel when you are logged in. Under the heading “Reward” you see the options that are offered and it is here that you also order a reward for your earned points.

I have ordered a reward. When does it come?

Depending on what it is for reward, it may take a long time to get the reward you requested for their earned points. Super-gift cards usually take 1-2 weeks to get (via e-mail). Subscriptions can be delayed when there is already an ongoing subscription and this needs to expire first.
If you have not received your reward within 8 weeks, it is good to get in touch with us on RAM. Then we examine so that nothing has gone wrong.

How do I order a reward for my points?

When you are logged in, there is a menu option “Reward”. Here you can see how many earned points you have and which rewards you can order at the different levels. If you have enough points to order a reward, you do so by clicking on the one you want and then press “Send”. We will ask you to verify your address and after you have done this the order is completed.

How does the Superpresent card work? (applies to Norway, Sweden, Finland)

If the panel offers you a participant in Superpresentkort through GoGift as a reward, they work like this: You order the reward. Within 1-2 weeks you will receive an e-mail from GoGift (check that this does not end up in your spam) with a personal code. You then use this code to order what you want on GoGift (link is in the email with the code). Some gift cards can be sent by mail and some only in digital form.
You can add several gift card codes. So if you If you have money left on any code, you can put this together with the next SuperPresent card you earn.

I have ordered a Superpresentkort but not received any e-mail with code and it has been over 2 weeks. What is it due to?

The most common reason is that the email with your Superpresent code has ended up in your spam. If you do not find it, you are welcome to contact us on RAM so we check that nothing has gone wrong.

I have changed my email address

When you are logged in (either when you use the link in the e-mail and answer the survey or log in to the website, click on “My Profile” in the menu, where you can update all your information including e-mail address.

Why do I have to state my income?

In order for us at RAM and our customers to be able to make as accurate and reliable analyzes as possible, we need some background variables. This information is aggregated and personalized. Income is a typical factor that is interesting to look at when it comes to how we perceive and take in information and communication. An example of how the information can be used is:
The advertisement is perceived as most interesting in the group of women, aged 55+, single households and with an average income.

You do not need to state your exact income but choose the income span you belong to.

Is participation anonymous?

Yes. RAM will only use any personal data in connection with RAM surveys. RAM does not provide personal data to third parties. You as a panel member are anonymous and the results of a survey can never be traced back to you.

Surveys
